Treatments for Dementia

Although no cure exists for dementia and there is no medication that will stop or reverse it's progression, there are treatments that work to improve the quality of life for people living with this disease.

Approved medications, including Ebixa, Reminyl, Aricept and Exelon, can help slow the progression of some symptoms such as those involving memory loss and language difficulties.

There are also a number of strategies, such as exercise and vitamin use, that individuals can use to manage symptoms.

Please select from the list of topics to the left to learn about these treatment options.
