Travel and Vacationing | Description

A person with Alzheimer's disease can become easily frightened or agitated in a new and unfamiliar setting. This can make travel difficult and stressful for you the caregiver. The person you care for may also have many memory difficulties which also add to the difficulties when traveling. They may not remember where they are going, forget important travel documents or become confused about where they are. The person you care for may also have a tendency to wander off when traveling. This can become particularly distressing for you the caregiver.

In todays busy world, keeping track of symptoms can be a challenge to say the least. That's why we've developed SymptomGuideTM. By taking a more active role, you can better understand how a symptom is affecting everyday life and you can communicate this knowledge with others involved.
