Sleep Disturbances | Stage

The time of worry leading up to the diagnosis and shortly after are often accompanied by sleep disturbances. In early dementia, disturbed sleep (problems falling asleep, problems staying asleep) can also signal depression . But the most severe disturbances of sleep are typically seen later in the illness, in the early severe stage.
